| A stunning large format capture showing Antelope Canyon displaying the many colors due to the way that sunlight reflects off the different layers of rock in the canyon walls. The sandstone walls of the canyon are composed of layers of rock with different levels of hardness, which have been shaped over time by the forces of wind and water erosion. The different layers of rock reflect light in different ways, creating a stunning display of colors that range from deep red and orange to golden yellow and pink.
The colors of Antelope Canyon are most vibrant when the sun is at a low angle, such as in the early morning or late afternoon. During these times, the sunlight filters through the narrow canyon walls and creates a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. The vibrant colors of the canyon walls are enhanced by the reflections of the sunlight on the canyon floor, creating a truly stunning visual display. Overall this stunning fine art, large format photograph will give any space a wonderful display of vibrancy and color. See a video of all my Antelope Canyon pieces here | |||||||||
