Chalk Sound is a stunning natural lagoon located on the southwest side of Providenciales, the most populated island in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Known for its surreal turquoise water and dotted with countless small limestone islets, Chalk Sound is often described as one of the most visually breathtaking places in the Caribbean. The lagoon?s vibrant, almost electric blue color is due to the shallow depth and high limestone content, which reflects sunlight in a unique way.
